Q3 2025 Performance of Top Navigation and Maps Apps on Android in Czech Republic

In the third quarter of 2025, the performance of top navigation and maps applications on the Android platform in the Czech Republic showcased interesting trends. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, provides insights into downloads, revenue, and active user metrics for these apps.

Mapy.com: Offline hiking maps demonstrated a fluctuating trend in weekly revenue, beginning with approximately $21K and decreasing to around $7K by the end of September. Weekly downloads peaked at 8.7K in late July before settling at 5.9K at the quarter's close. Active users hovered around 1.5M, experiencing a gradual decline towards 1.4M.

For Waze Navigation & Live Traffic, weekly downloads started at 5.5K, rising to 7.2K mid-quarter, and then fell to 3.9K. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at 497K and ending at 444K.

Cyclers: Bike Navigation & Map saw weekly revenue peak at $4K in mid-July, then tapering to $1K by late September. Downloads declined from 5.8K to 871, while active users decreased significantly from 5.4K to just over 2K.

Yandex Maps and Navigator experienced a drop in weekly downloads from 3.7K to 379. Active users followed a similar trend, reducing from 3.8K to 1.1K.

Yandex Navigator also saw a decline in downloads, starting at 3K and ending at 359. Active users decreased from 4.1K to 2K by the end of the quarter.
